These one and two bedroom apartments are situated in the wings of an impressive old country house surrounded by 80 acres of pine woods and vineyards. It is only about 40km from the lively city of Oporto, and about 20km from beautiful Atlantic beaches. The university town of Braga, with its fine old churches and its intense night life, is not far away. A mini-market 1.5km away and the restaurant ‘Belo Horizonte’ is 2km away.
Details of Accommodation
All apartments are equipped with telephones, colour TV and central heating and have their own independent entrance.
To the right of the main house, 3 one bedroomed apartments (sleep 2 each) look out onto a courtyard patio. Each of these has a living room with a kitchen area with 2 gas rings and fridge, a dining table and comfortable seating for 3. Next to the living room is a twin bedroom and a shower room/WC. A fourth one bedroom apartment is entirely situated at the first floor level. One ground floor one bedroom apartment has a bath instead of a shower.
At the other end of the main house is a wing of 2 two bedroomed apartments (sleep up to 4) sharing a patio terrace. The layout is similar to the one bedroom apartments except that the living room is bigger with comfortable seating for 4, and in the kitchen area is a cooker with oven, and the two bedrooms (1 twin, 1 double) are reached by stairs which rise to the first floor where they share a shower room/WC.
You can order snacks and drinks from the bar to be delivered to your apartment, which are cleaned and the linen is changed daily. There is a communal sitting room with bar and TV. Outside are lawns, fruit trees, a tennis court and a 20m x 6m swimming pool, the water of which is continually renewed spring water.
