The Minho
There is not a better choice of holiday than enjoying the tranquillity of one of our Minho villas with pool in northern Portugal. Together with the Douro, Minho is the main producer of the famous “Vinho Verde” which is a really fresh, semi-sparkling young wine - you will notice driving around the area that vineyards are a main part of the scenery. We feature a range of properties from Minho apartments with shared pools to Minho villas with private pools where you can enjoy the most idyllic and peaceful locations. Our Braga accommodation and all our northern Portugal villas have hiking trails, horse riding, as well as fabulous sandy beaches with excellent surfing not far away. There is often a delightful regional restaurant within walking distance of our Minho villas where home made local produce and wine are served at very reasonable prices. We also have accommodation near Porto which is the main city and airport of the region, and only about one hour's away from many of our Minho villas with pool.
